Patio Herb Planter Workshop
Date: Saturday May 11, 2024
Time: 1:00PM or 2:30PM
Arrival and Departure: Gates will open at 12:30 and close for the day at 4:00. Feel free to come early or stay late to meet the animals, check out the gardens, or enjoy our play centres.
Location: Gathered and Grown Family Farm (13075 TWP 422)
Cost: $30/planter +GST
Payment: e-transfer to suzanne@gatheredandgrown.ca or credit card through the website (3%service charge)
Description: Join us for an hour long workshop to plant your own patio herb planter. Each planter will include 3 herbs of your choice. Suzanne will spend some time going over how to best plant, care for, and harvest your herbs for success all season long. The cost is per planter, if you would like to plant with someone or have your children join you there is no additional cost. Our ice cream bike will be making its first appearance of the season during this event and will have frozen treats and refreshments available.

Tomato Time
Details: Join Margaret and Suzanne as they deep dive into everything you need to know to make your tomato crop a success. This 60 minute workshop will cover different varieties of tomatoes and their purpose, how to care for your tomatoes all season, and the top tips to maximize your harvest. Each participant will go home with 3 tomato plants of their choice.
